ENGINEERS IN ACTION
MISSION STATEMENT
Engineers in Action's (EIA) mission is to work with indigenous professionals to improve the lives of people in need through sustainable programs that build their capacity, while also helping to develop global awareness among program participants.
VISION
EIA's vision is to become a holistic organization of caring professionals working to build local capacity and a sense of dignity and hope in communities all over the world. EIA's Bridge Program envisions a world in which global citizens connect across cultures to improve quality of life and ensure geography doesn’t determine access to opportunity.
PRINCIPLE STRATEGIES
We educate. We provide educational programs that teach footbridge construction to reach the greatest number of people in need.
We innovate. We develop, continually improve, and share engineering solutions that are safe, replicable, and locally viable.
We inspire. We provide opportunities for leadership development and personal growth through international collaboration.
We prove it. We measure our success by the long lasting impact our projects have on the reduction of rural poverty due to isolation.
